E14/E15 Brussels (BE) Inter-Sessions Forum 12-18.11.2018


Europan organizes, together with the Region Bruxelles Capital and the Bouwmeester Maître Architect, a Forum for the E14 winning teams (winners & runners-up) and the E14 and E15 site representatives.

This Inter-Sessions Forum aims at favouring the exchange, encounters and debates between the E14 actors (cities, juries and winning teams) and the E15 actors (new sites representatives) during a common event that ends up one session and opens the other. The Forum is divided into various sequences:
 

  • E14 WINNING TEAMS WORKSHOP: PRODUCTIVE BRUSSELS – 11.12-15, 2018
    Dedicated to the 88 E14 winning teams (winners and runners-up), this workshop aims at developping their winning ideas, in "european teams". The theme of the ongoing session, "Productive Cities", is applied to the Belgian capital, leading the winning teams to develop strategic project-ideas on local situations and contexts.
    The Presentation of the Workshop Results will be hold on Friday Nov. 16, 2018.

  • VISITS OF PRODUCTIVE BRUSSELS  11.16, 2018
    The end will begin with welcoming words from the Minister-President of Bruxelles Capital Region, will continue with a conference by Kristiaan Borret, Bowmeester Maître Architecte of Brussels, and will go on with mutation sites visits of Tours&Taxi and Anderlecht Abattoirs neighbourhoods. 
  • E14 RESULTS AND IMPLEMENTATION PROCESSES – 11.16-17, 2018
    Presentation of E14 winning projects, each team will focus mainly on the production-city relation of their project.
    Presentation of 12 ongoing processes from the E14 session linked to 6 implementation processes from former sessions, involving sites representatives, owners, developpers and design teams. 
  • E15 SESSION: PRESENTATION OF EUROPAN 15 THEME AND SITES' ISSUES  11.17-18, 2018
    Lectures on Europan 15 theme: Productive Cities 2 - Resources, Mobility, Social Equity.
    The objective is to deal with sites strategies in depth, that have already been suggested by the European cities for the session to come, and to compare them with themes that can connect them together. Stakeholders from the new E15 sites will be invited to participate to this session and E14 sites representatives and winning teams could contribute as well.
