Project – The musical background is here grasped to propose semi-public space on street level. The proposal make use of the fallow land system as an architectonic strategy with three layers, each of them defining its own landscape. The project brings the patio-house from the Mediterranean coast to Vienna. Those patio-houses –placed in a unoverlooked height– are divided into plots and work like the fallow land. Each house is designed so that all the several interior parts may rotate as the farming system does. The towers work in the same way but in this case, the movement will be vertical.

Implementation – After being postponed for different reasons the site construction kick off took place in October 2014. The project finally includes 115 rental patio hosues/flats, 14 offices, 1 social / Kinderplatz, 1 laundry, 7 retails, a park, a café, 82 parkings in the basement, 115 cellars. The team had to deal with a lot of new problems to fix – big projects like this one always represents a challenge. The last step turned out to be a little bit difficult for final decisions management to comply to the last requirement level on architectural design, but the project was fortunately too strong and powerful and met all the last inclemencies. Construction should be completed by the end of May 2016.
