"The project is structured to harness the many physical and urbanistic constraints of the site and to promote daily social interactions. The proposal addresses the topic of creating a productive city at three different scales: the “Rooftop City” –a green spine […] that extends the network of activities across the city; the “Rooftop Neighbourhood” –allowing productive adjacencies between public and private activities; and the “Rooftop Building” –a new flexible work/home typology providing different simultaneous uses."
