This is an easily recognisable, almost figurative, marker of an urban and landscape organism, seeking to communicate the image of an environment which is primarily designed for living. It generates a heterogeneous yet close-knit human community, through a structure which mediates a typically urban layout with a landscape and system of open spaces inspired by organic forms.
The project focuses on producing an urban structure which is both strong and flexible, capable of encompassing a wide architectural richness and variety, designed to generate a multiplicity of townscapes and accommodating many different occupants and activities.
A similar approach is applied to the whole area and its surrounds, across a wide spectrum, using criteria of environmental sustainability, architectural sensitivity and multi-functional uses of the site.

This project is connected to the following themes
Mobility - Interface
Situated above the future underground station, an urban square acts as a platform for the new part of the city, forming a transition between the local network and regional connections.
Shared spaces - A Frame for social life
The neighbourhood is extended by the design of a highly interconnected urban fabric capable of accommodating different types of activities and promoting a variety of shared spaces.
Nature - Hybridity / Juxtaposition
The urban layout is worked into a mosaic of platforms alternating buildings and open space. This organisation offers a flexibility of adaptation to the context, while maintaining a clear hierarchy, organised around a central axis.
