A residential area is envisioned where people live in contact with the roughness of nature. Respectful to the earth, the neighbourhood will only lightly touch the soil. The human world will be raised on a system of piles. This superimposed structure makes the area accessible while preserving the wilderness. It functions as an in-between space for people to live in nature.
The pavilion is an iconic building that first serves as an information centre and afterwards, in another location, as a house. The archetypical house is adapted, creating a strong image which symbolizes free architecture in this area. Shifting the basement creates a large outdoor space in the heart of the building, producing good exposure to the surroundings and the sun.

Habitat - Time

Inspired by Calvino, a residential area is created while giving place to the roughness of nature, by designing a prototype of a completely demountable pavilion with a double potential use, just turning its orientation: a services pavilion to access to the woodlands, or a residential unit.
