1. How do you define the main issues of your project in relation with the theme “Re-sourcing”? Re-sourcing thanks to nature, to social dynamics, to new materiality? In which way do you think your project can contribute to an ecological and/or social evolution? And in which way do you think your project can be called a “regenerative project”?
The project activates existing resources: materiality through prefabricated wooden equipped walls that integrate infrastructures and reduce impact; and nature through the floodable garden and the greywater phytoremediation system. The shared spaces strengthen social dynamics, fostering both ecological improvement and community cohesion.
2. How did the issues of your design and the questions raised by the site mutation meet?
Our proposal aims to negotiate with the ever-changing nature of the site, facing pressures such as densification or shifting land value, and incorporate them within the project as core elements. By reinforcing existing community structures, and most importantly, proposing adaptable housing, we hope to make the site mutation the focus of our solution, a flexible one that can evolve with it.
PROJECT:
During our studies we explored housing and new ways of living, but it was through Europan that we truly delved into its complexity. To do so, we drew on references such as the metabolist icon Nakagin Tower or the Terrassenhaus by bplus.xyzt. As young people affected by the housing crisis in Spain, we strengthened our commitment to imagining more inclusive models.
SITE:
Implementation is conceived as a continuous, negotiated process from the outset, grounded in the expansion of the existing Community House and in a flexible architecture that adapts to changing needs. Prefabricated construction and reconfigurable common spaces enable community participation and shared management to activate from the very beginning and evolve over time.
REFERENCES:
Even though we have known one another since the beginning of our architectural studies, it was through the establishment of ha_veinticinco that we truly began working as a team, developing shared ideas and entering architectural competitions. Our current professional paths are diverse, which means each of us brings a different set of skills — from furniture and landscape design to ephemeral architecture and academic practice — collectively enriching the creativity of our proposals.
6. How could this prize help you in your professional career?
The Special Mention in Europan is a significant milestone for our career. It boosts our visibility, facilitates access to new commissions, and broadens collaboration prospects. For a young and cohesive team, this recognition strengthens our professional projection, deepens our learning, reinforces our presence in future projects, and enhances our ability to engage with more ambitious initiatives.

We recently finished our studies, so we are just starting to participate in competitions together. However, in addition to Europan, we were finalists in the Concentrico 2025 ephemeral architecture competition.
