"Our plan promotes resident-centered, multi-generational and care-oriented living environment. We restore the old stream, expand flood space as part of diverse habitats and recreation, and make stormwater a key asset. Inspired by the landscape’s history, we strengthen meadow, forest, and water networks and create spaces for gardening plots as a memory from the agricultural history of the site. We also propose temporary and new building uses and material reuse in the Resourcing and reusing hub."

Atmospheres of Bäckbo are born along the stream.
Community house of Bäckbo provides spaces to gather and share.
People of all ages can live, move and interact in a suitable way.
