The proposal is a response to the special characteristics of the plot, adjacent to the sea and crossed by a stream with a serious flood risk for part of the year. The original basin is modified, creating new streams which determine future constructions by eroding them. Wetland areas will appear in the urban fabric, coexisting with wildlife and controlling the risk of overflow. New ways to coexist with water are proposed.
This aspect is transposed to the typologies. The housing volume literally rests on the ground through extremities filled with program functions, with the capacity to connect public space while incorporating protected areas outside the home. The use of the outside space is extended, in an area characterized by an extreme climate, with small pavilions directly related to the garden. This creates more vivid interiors and a unique appearance at the urban level.

Housing - Typology
The new development is formed by small-scale blocks to test a new typology anchored into the traditional semi-detached local housing. Through a kind of "housing legs", this innovative model is adapted to the environment, creating new public and private spaces associated to a flooding management system.
