The proposal explores possibilities for small-scale housing to form an eco-efficient urban fabric and at the same time to create memorable, versatile and socially stimulating urbanity. The goal is to create a structure that is both individual and flexible. The footprint is minimised by placing all built elements in a dense ribbon, and by making use of the site’s contours, views and landscape structure. Ecological priorities give the architecture its distinctive features, so that the building components actively contribute to the energy efficiency of the building. By creating high-standard shared functions the proposal aims to promote community life. The garden acts as a functional landscape and a social space. The dwellings offer the comfort of traditional single family houses, with a wide range of intimate outdoor spaces.

This project is connected to the following themes
Housing - Typology
The semi-dense morphology developed by the project connects private dwellings around a shared green square. The proposed diversity of the outdoor spaces seeks to create a hybrid structure around the private housing plan.
